Emeline Descreaux (b. 1996, France) lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.

She articulates her plural practice with painting, while video and sound came along to form a triangular and open dialogue. Her work investigates the surface by examining its material conditions and its meanings. Experimenting from within the surface itself, she reflect it as a space where forces meet, overlap, and regenerate repeatedly. She considers established structures as a starting point to think about, through and beyond. In search of ambiguous assemblages, she questioned the state of the subject. Her practice moves and shift between hybrid experimentation and traditional formats.

Siuxsun is the sound project of Emeline Descreaux, since 2023.
Her music moves between electroacoustic, sound design, and ambient. She combines raw analog machines with digital processing, oscillating from warm memories to icy abstractions and rhythmic impulses. She brings the public into a cinematic and immersive experience. Through her current audiovisual performance, the body blurs into spectral appearances, becoming part of the projection itself.
